Thank you Soledad

I want to give a hat tip to Soledad O’Brien.

No. Really.

Soledad, who used to be one of Keith Olberman’s flunkies over on MSNBC, now has a talk show on CNN during the day. Like her mentor Keith, Soledad came from another area of reporting – tech – before now jumping into political reporting. Like Keith, Soledad relies on the Obama and MoveOn talking points to make her show, proving her lack of background on the issues when she actually is challenged. However, she is cute, so CNN promotes her show.

The reason I am giving a hat tip to Soledad is due to her opening of a flood gate she should not have opened. This flood gate is the association of fringe supporters of political candidates and trying to say their fringe views are the same as the man or woman actually running for office. In this case, Soledad decided to try and paint Mitt Romney with the birther views of Donald Trump. John Sununu, her guest, slammed her bad for it but Soledad opened the door.

What did she open the door for? Bill Ayres, Reverend Wright, Brett Kimberlin, etc. etc. etc. It is now fair game for any and all SuperPACs and surrogates for the Romney campaign to open up and use the calvacade of crooks Obama has associated with over the years. It is now available for those who want Obama gone to paint him with the same brush as Soledad attempted to use against Romney.

Today, Obama had to apologize for using the name ‘Polish Death Camps’. But his environmental whacko supporters have called for ‘reeducation’ camps for those denying global warning. So, by using the Soledad Rule, I can say Obama supports concentration and reeducation camps.

So, thank you Soledad for opening up this barrier. We on the Right appreciate it.

Please use #SoledadRule if you site any other comparisons like I have done above today on Twitter.

Better Alternatives

Conservatives, do not listen to the media when it comes to the Republican nominee. As the press touts a candidate, look to the alternative candidate who is a conservative in both fiscal and social issues:

You want a businessman, with a proven record of creating jobs and is not a career politician? Herman Cain

You want an ex-governor, able to be elected in a crazy liberal state as a conservative? Tim Pawlenty

You want a firebrand House member who has been able to stand up to a savage press beatdown and give it back in spades? Michelle Bachmann

You want a social conservative? All three of the above. Yet, all three are also fiscally conservative and won’t raise taxes unlike one certain frontrunner.

Want the Fair Tax? Herman Cain has been supporting it for years.

We must get out there and inform the people of these three candidates. These three should be our frontrunners, not the flawed individuals the press is pushing on us. The press wants Gingrich, Huckabee, Romney, or Trump to be our nominee. They think Obama can beat those four. Obama, though, can’t beat Cain, Pawlenty, or Bachmann once debates start taking place. The press is thusly trying to bury those three threats.

We must inform the people. As bloggers, it is our duty.
